Bloomingdale Avenue School

DROP OFF PROCEDURES:

ALBANY AVE. DROP OFF ( 1C, 1F , 2K, 2LA, 2M 2O)

• A drop off zone has been created so that parents can pull up and let their child out of the car quickly and safely, WITHOUT PARKING.  A BAS staff member will be at the door at 8:20 AM, monitoring students as they enter the building.  There will be no parking in the coned drop off zone.

• If you would like to walk your child to the door, please find parking outside the drop off zone.  I suggest parking on the side streets.

• The Albany Street doors (side door Grade 1 and backdoor Grade 2) will remain open from 8:20-8:30 AM.  Any child arriving after 8:30 AM must enter through the main entrance.

• After dropping off your child, it is highly recommended that cars continue on Albany Ave., make a left onto Roselle Ave., and a left onto Cherrywood Ave.  This route will lead right back to Bloomingdale Ave.  We hope that this will reduce the safety hazard of people doing K-turns and U-turns during drop off.   ***

PARKING LOT DROP OFF (KAMB, KAMBA, FDK and KPMB)

• Kindergarten students will line up at the parking lot entrance.  The doors will be open from 8:20-8:30 AM and 12:00 PM. Any child arriving after 8:30 AM must enter through the main entrance.

• When parking, please park on Bloomingdale Ave. or utilize the parking spaces behind the school.  The spaces alongside the school are reserved for teachers/staff.

BLOOMINGDALE AVE. FRONT DOOR DROP OFF (1K, 1T)

• 1K and 1T students will line up at the front door entrance.  The doors will be open from 8:20-8:30 AM. Any child arriving after 8:30 AM must enter through the main entrance.

• When parking, please park on Bloomingdale Ave. or utilize the parking spaces behind the school.  The spaces alongside the school are reserved for teachers/staff.
