Let’s Recognize Our Amazing Teachers

Governor’s Educator of the Year Recognition Program:

The state of New Jersey would like to recognize educators who go above and beyond the call of duty to support our young children.  Please take a moment to nominate a special educator from BAS. Nominations can include the classroom teacher, special activity teacher, and special services like Speech.  In addition, it may be the school nurse, counselor and/or child study team member. Holiday Toy Drive!

🎁Holiday Toy Drive

This holiday season our toy drive will be benefiting the Lafayette Street School in Newark, the school Mrs. Murphy was at for years before coming to Bloomingdale. The school is near and dear to her heart and many of the students experience economic hardships. We chose to make the holidays a little bit brighter for the students there and will be dropping off toy donations in a couple weeks.  Please consider sending in a toy/gift (new, unwrapped, for ages 0-14) with your child to be placed in the box by the main office. Donations may also just be dropped off. The box has a sign on it that says: “Toy Donations for Lafayette Street School”. Thank you in advance for your generosity. Gifts must be in by December 9th for a December 10th pick up.
